Firstly, originality and creativity is key. Write quality material that cuts through what is out there right now. We sign artists that can make great faith-based/Islamic A Capella music and nasheeds. This will always be a great deciding factor behind whether we sign you or collaborate with you. If you can give us something that embodies the potential to be a special A Cappella song/nasheed, that is going to resonate with us, which means it will resonate with our audience. However, there is no expectation for our artists to be able to write songs/nasheeds. Many world class singers and artists are not in fact songwriters, but we still want to hear your work if you bring an outstanding voice, drive and the right personality to Enlighten Records that will be embraced by us and our audience.
We pay close attention to production and lyrics and if you are creative with how you do things. We are not looking for imitative work and sounds- adapt and be different! Bring something new and niche to the Islamic nasheed and A Cappella music industry- we work with those who make it their own and knows what makes them different. We will nurture that.
We are an independent and unique record label that produces very niche A Cappella music/nasheeds inspired by faith and Islam. This means that we care about what we are doing, we care about our audience and we care about our artists.
